Description
This great sounding wind chime is made of all copper and brass. Its hanger and wind catcher are made of copper. Its frame, clapper and 5 tubes are all made of brass. By combining these two quality materials, this wind chime will last forever. Comparing to aluminum or bamboo tubes, the sound resulted from brass tubes is much richer. Brass and copper will also develop a beautiful patina with time and weathering. During the development of this wind chime, we tested brass tubes of different length and thickness and decided on current specifications for the rich sound and beautiful musical tone. We back this superior product with a lifetime warranty.
Size: overall length 27", length of the longest tube 15".

Music to my ears!
Review by Wayne W. on 11 Feb 2024 review stating Music to my ears!
Beautiful materials and an even better sound. This is a chime that's built to last. The cord used to hold the chimes appears to be more durable then most other chimes on the market. Money well spent.

Q: I have some 2” o.d brass tubes 1/6 thick on the walls . I was wondering the length to cut each pipe and which is better sounding 5 or 6 pipes? Thank you very much and have a great day . I might add the length is 52”” and 46 “” pieces is longer better as well ?

A: We do not recommend modifying the chime in any way since each tube is specifically tuned to complement the other tubes' resonant frequencies.

Q: Any way to soften the loud tones in this beautiful brass chime? Can’t think of a good way to “mute” the clanger…just a bit!

A: Thanks a lot for your inquiry. You can make it less sensitive to winds by using a smaller wind catcher or trim our original wind catcher smaller. It won't soften the tones of the chime but will make sounds less frequent. I guess the only way to make it quieter is to hang it further away.

A: Thanks a lot for your inquiry. I have one in my own yarn. I don't have to replace the string in last 5 years. We use 40 lb fishing lines to make those wind chimes. Those strings should last for many years. It also depends on where you place your wind chime. If it is in shade, strings should last longer. I think you should be able to use copper or stainless steel stranded wires as substitute.
